SlapYOU LLC, doing business as SlapYOUniversity (SlapYOUniversity, we, us, or our), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit www.slapyouniversity.com, purchase or use a membership, communicate with us, or use related services.

1 Scope

This Policy applies to information collected through the SlapYOUniversity website, Kajabi-hosted courses and checkout pages, forms, emails, consultations, comments, customer support, and other services that link to this Policy. Third-party websites and services have their own privacy practices, which this Policy does not control.

2 Information we collect

We may collect information that you provide directly, including:

  • Name, email address, telephone number, city, and state.
  • Purchaser type, such as athlete, parent, coach, or instructor.
  • Organization, school, or team name and the intended use of a membership.
  • Account, membership, purchase, subscription, renewal, cancellation, refund, and transaction information.
  • Course activity, lesson progress, quiz or worksheet responses, and comments.
  • Messages, consultation requests, customer-support communications, and feedback.
  • Training videos, images, or other materials voluntarily submitted when we offer that feature.

We and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring pages, approximate location derived from an IP address, login activity, cookie identifiers, and information about use of the website and courses.

Payment-card information is processed by Kajabi Payments and its payment partners. SlapYOUniversity does not directly store complete payment-card numbers.

3 How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • Create, authenticate, and administer accounts and memberships.
  • Process purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.
  • Provide course access, track progress, and deliver requested services.
  • Schedule consultations, provide customer support, and respond to messages or feedback requests.
  • Send purchase, billing, security, access, policy, and other service-related communications.
  • Send marketing communications when permitted, subject to your right to unsubscribe.
  • Personalize, analyze, maintain, and improve our courses, services, and customer experience.
  • Protect accounts, enforce account-use rules, prevent fraud or misuse, and investigate unlawful activity.
  • Maintain business, tax, accounting, and transaction records and comply with legal obligations.
  • Create aggregated or de-identified statistics that do not reasonably identify an individual.

Submitted training videos and similar materials are used privately to provide the requested service or feedback. We will not use them publicly in advertising, social media, or promotion without separate permission.

4 How we disclose information

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to vendors and service providers that help operate our business, including Kajabi and Kajabi Payments, payment processors and financial institutions, website hosting, analytics, security, email and communication providers, video-conferencing and scheduling services, and professional advisers such as accountants, attorneys, insurers, and consultants.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate fraud or misuse, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business. Service providers receive information for the services they perform and handle it under their own agreements and privacy practices.

Lesson comments may be visible to other members who can access the applicable lesson. Private support messages, consultations, and submitted training videos are not intended to be public.

5 Cookies and analytics

Our Kajabi-hosted website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as login sessions, checkout, security, preferences, performance, and Kajabi's built-in analytics. We have not added third-party advertising pixels or external analytics tools as of the effective date of this Policy.

You may control cookies through your browser or an available cookie-consent tool. Blocking some cookies may affect website, checkout, or account functionality. If we later add material tracking or advertising technologies, we will update this Policy and provide consent choices where required.

6 Marketing and communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary transactional or service communications about purchases, billing, security, course access, consultations, or changes affecting your account.

7 Children and minors

SlapYOUniversity is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from a child under 13. A parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account, make purchases, submit forms, request consultations, and submit videos or other personal information for a child under 13. A child may view course materials and train with a parent or guardian but may not independently create an account, enter information, post comments, or contact us through the platform.

If we learn that we collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without legally sufficient parental authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact us at support@slapyouniversity.com with any privacy concerns regarding their children. For any material featuring a minor, the submitting adult represents that they are the parent or legal guardian or otherwise have all necessary authority and permissions.

8 Retention and security

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, administer memberships, maintain transaction and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect our business, and meet legal obligations. Account and course records may remain while a membership is active and for a reasonable period afterward. When information is no longer needed, we may delete or de-identify it, or retain it where required by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online platform, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Customers are responsible for protecting their login credentials and should promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

9 Your privacy rights and choices

Subject to applicable law and appropriate exceptions, you may ask to access or correct personal information we maintain about you, request deletion, unsubscribe from marketing, control cookies, or exercise other privacy rights provided by applicable state law. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We may retain information necessary for legal, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, and recordkeeping purposes.

10 Third-party services and international processing

Our services may link to social-media platforms, podcast services, payment providers, video-conferencing services, and other third parties. Their privacy policies apply when you interact with them. We do not control their privacy or security practices.

Kajabi and other service providers may process or store information in the United States or other countries where they operate. If you use our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, subject to applicable legal protections.

11 Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, vendors, business practices, or legal obligations. The effective date identifies the current version. We may provide notice of material changes through the website, email, or an account notice when appropriate or required.
